best way to find out in future, 5 dollar test light from any auto place. turn on the headlight switch and attach the clip to ground and use test light probe to check each bulb socket pin. the one that lights is positive.
PS ... lantana from your previous posts i know you know this but for people newer to the hobby thought i'd put it there for them.
I have the test light that takes a single AA battery, but couldn't find it anywhere which usually means my son has been in the tool box again... I hooked up two wires to the halogen bulb I removed and tried to make a test light out of it but this didn't work either. I was able to finally find the answer in the forum when I searched for "HID Negative". BTW, I wrote up a small review of the kit I used if anyone is interested it is in the exterior lighting section.
