Yep that's what my plan is, to simply take the cast portion of the stock headers, cut it off, and make it with 1.75" stainless round tube primaries. I will do a diy in a couple of weeks when I get to it (and cost, doing it myself, will be less than $100 for both). I am expecting about 5-8 hp and about 5-10 lbs weight decrease. Not bad for about 5-6 hours of work and $100.
