Default Re: 2004 crossfire extended warranty

As this was a used '04, Chrysler is not going to give anyone a free Lifetime Warranty. I think it's best to go with the Chrysler MaxiCare warranty. Mine had mileage about 36K when I bought it so I got the used car MaxiCare warranty. It covers everything for 5 years or 50K miles from the date of MY purchase. I'm good until 94K miles or Feb. 2012. I believe that there is plenty that can go wrong - I had the "humming noise" coming from the rear end and they have ordered a replacement rear differential for the car. I understand from another thread on this forum that this repair alone is over $3,000. I'll let you know how it goes.
