Just got back this afternoon from an 1,165 mile trip to Savannah, GA. The Crossfire was safely parked inside the hotel garage all week so all of the driving was either two and four lane highway or interstate highway with most of it interstate highway at between 70 and 85 miles per hour. I need a fill up in the morning to get a complete number but with the three fill ups that I had on the trip I had 27.748, 27.227 and 26.847 for an average of 27.300 miles per gallon.

In the 8,099 miles that I have been keeping track of my gas consumption I have averaged 23.538 miles per gallon. I've spent just over $950 for an average of $2.76 per gallon since 09/09/06. That cost in no way compares to the fun that I've had in driving those miles.
