i will go with the maxcare chrysler warrenty when i buy only because it is a mercedes and they are expensive to fix. my friend had a compass extended warrenty on her jeep wrangler. she had to get the trans replaced and the warrenty didn't cover the whole job. i forgot their explanation as to why but i know it was not anything to do with driver neglect but the way the warrenty is and the job ended up being $1,800 total and she had to fork over $900 even with the warrenty.
