If you have the 7/70 power train warranty it cost a lot less to buy the long term warranty because they know Chrysler is on the hook for the big stuff. I bought my car a 2004 Limited in July with 17,000 miles. Because of when the car was first licensed my (new car warranty) runs till next February. This let me buy the 7/70 for $150. I think it took at least a grand off my long term warranty.
