If your wife is hard up on a Solstice Sky type of sports car, then go with the Honda S2000, much better car, and I think its been around for so long the aftermarket is unlimited for tuning. Remember GM doesn't really design sports cars, they're just feeling out the market with those two models, they haven't been perfected like the S2000 or BMW Z .

I would stay far away from GM vehicles, except the Corvette. That's a fine machine.
