I think discussion of gas mileage is reasonable because for the amount of power (or lack thereof) and the small size of the car, it should be getting decent gas mileage. Now give me another 150 horsepower and I wouldn't care about the mpg.
OK, OK, I give... but to be truthful gas mileage was not even on my list of considerations when I bought mine. Mine's also not a daily driver either so I'm sure that comes into play a bit too. I just have way too much fun driving the car to concerned about the fuel economy.
