Quick note about Fontana Village: If you want to stay there, be sure to give them a call to ask about availability, don't just rely on their website.

When I checked a couple of weeks ago, their website said nothing was available, but when I then called, they had some rooms and I was able to make our reservation for Friday and Saturday.
