My friend lost the only key I had to my car (long story), will I still be able to unlock the car through the door handle and program the key with the above procedures?

yes you can get into the vehicle even though its not programmed. so i got my new key and im comin back from lunch, not even 10minutes into driving it for the first time in a week and i get in a wreck =[ pics later...
