In the past month, my headlights have deteriorated badly. They used to be pretty much perfect and all of a sudden they have developed areas just under the horizontal crease line that look like I took a buffer and held it on too long. These areas feel rough to the touch, far from smooth. And the passenger side is much worse than the drivers side. I tried Plasti-X with no improvement whatsoever.

Now here's my question... isn't this a warranty issue as opposed to a home repair? I intend to take it to the dealer soon, but due to work, not for another week or so. Should I expect a fight?
