Re: rear window separation from ragtop
I am afraid there is no good news forthcoming. The glass is held in place by a very strong glue. As I found out when this happened to my Volvo convertible - the high temperatures and humidity in the South cause the glue to break down faster than in milder climates. I tried several types of glue but once it started, it just kept spreading around the whole window. I even used top strength epoxy and propped and taped the window in place until it dried. It seemed OK when I took the tape and "props" off. I drove to work. When I came out at lunch, the window was falling out again. Bottom line - you can stretch out the time until replacement for a while but you can't stop it permanently. There is just too much tension on the top to allow any aftermarket glue to hold.
