Get the kit and sand the crap out of them with the stuff they give you. Trust me, I've tried everything and this is the only thing that has worked. The key to get them perfect is to do it in the garage, taped off and apply the CV #2 evenly, it's remarkable the transformation from the cloudy white look after the 2-stage sanding to crystal clear.
My affected areas were along the top down to the middle on both sides and on the passenger side, I had a circular spot right next to the Low-Beam projector.
I really wish I had done it when I got the camera charger to show the difference.
