I bought the SRT-6 on eBay two weeks ago, it’s in Erie Pennsylvania. I’m going to drive it back to Texas. I was going to fly up there this past weekend, but they called me on Friday to say that while they were detailing the leather seat the technician spilled the cleaning solution on the center console and damage the Auto Stick module. The Dealership will fix it, but will not receive the part until Monday, at the earliest, and said they will call when it is fixed. The salesman also mentioned that they would now take care of airfare for me and “something” extra. To make lemonade out of lemons the weather in the area I was going to drive through is very rainy right now. So waiting is not so bad, but I still cannot wait to drive back. I have mapped several scenic drives on my laptop w/ GPS. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestion on anything that you think might help like, should I have it shipped, how to deal with the dealership, anything I should check do before the long trip. I’m adding about 500 mile to the trip, instead of taking just the interstates back. Thanks in advance.
