I just got back from buying my SRT-6 on Sunday! I go to school in Fort Collins, CO and bought the car in Defiance, OH, so I had about an 18 hour drive back, but it was a good 18 hours. As far as prep for the drive, I did a good visual inspection of everything, but thats about it. I don't know if thats necessarily the best thing to do, but I didn't have any problems. I would definitely recommend bringing a radar detector with you. It saved my *** a few times on the drive. Also, a some good energy drinks helped me out... Other than that, all I can say is enjoy the car, its well worth the traveling!
