Now here's my question... isn't this a warranty issue as opposed to a home repair? I intend to take it to the dealer soon, but due to work, not for another week or so. Should I expect a fight?
Well, I just got home from a visit to the local Chrysler dealership.
The service girl took a look at my headlights, checked to see if my car was still in warranty (2 years, 16K miles), and ordered new headlights
without the slightest bit of hesitation. Just to be safe, I asked if this was covered and she said it was indeed. She even reminded me that I will be entitled to a rental while they do the work.
Very relieved.
