I hope he doesn't over charge us like so many AM vendors do for this car. The components look to be relatively inexpensive. Just some aluminum pipe, hose clamps, rubber hose, a K&N, and the use of a mandrel pipe bender.
Price is relative. It will be alot cheaper than any other MB intake out there and it makes REAL power (not just 8-10). And yes it is a 100% Bolt that requires no molesting to install. The factory Air Box adn Intake Plumbing comes out without any tools, it's just kinda sitting there. It took all of 2 minutes to get it all out, no exaggeration. The NeedsWings Intake is actually more securely attached than teh factory one is. Given that it will be alot cheaper than anything else, and make power, Rob deserves to make his $ on them. The material may not cost that much, but think about the R&D and how many hours he put into it to make it work the best. He makes outstanding products that really work. Stay tuned there are some other very interesting things coming down the pipe as well.
