O.K i'll cut right to the chase...with the pulley's on this car it turns into a BEAST! After install I went for a ride and the dam things pulls harder than my old Z06 for sure! That car ran
12.6@113 stock and I can guarantee the SRT will beat that. If I had to guess I would say 0-60 times near 4 seconds flat and 0-100 in the mid 9's. It's almost to the point of being TOO MUCH for the street. The pilot sports do a great job putting the power to the ground but you can anticipate the car roasting through 1st and second ALOT more than before. It's easily the fastest car I have owned...
Now for the install info...
Installation is a snap and took me total less than 45 minutes. The directions are off a little as our cars do not have bolts holding down the fan (just snaps) and we do not need to remove the horns. Other than that the directions were rough but good. The hardest part of the whole job was getting the crank bolt loose. I had a friend gently hold a crow bar between the crank pulley and the one directly next to it and wedge it as I broke the bolt loose. It's in there about as tight as an asian virgin so be ready to act like Lou Ferigno to get it out!
Overall the parts are very good quality and even though the price is steep at nearly 1K it's worth it IMO. I do not believe you gain only 25 whp from this pulley kit. If I had to guess by the ol butt dyno I would put it between 45-55. It is truly an impressive increase in power.
I highly recommend this pulley kit to anyone for a number of reasons:
1. It looks stock
2. It uses the stock belt
3. Power increase is awesome
Nuff said...time to drive more!
