Hi NeverEnough,

She was first registered in Feb 2007 but this was by the dealer so probably an '06 build. It raises the question: do Chrysler still build them?

Local dealer said he couldn't order a new vehicle as he was unsure if any floor pans were still available. Maybe salesman speaks with forked tongue.

There's a lot of dealer registered Crossfires sitting unsold on forecourts in the UK because the cost of ownership, as opposed to the outright purchase price, over here is very high. I could only find two dealer-demonstrator SRT-6's: this one where I live and one in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I suppose the recent Daimler Chrysler divorce would have killed off this model eventually, due to the MB underpinnings. I get the feeling the motoring world will miss the Crossfire when it's no longer available and the SRT-6 will be seen as a classic but I'm buying one for the fun; not for the investment.

I'll send more pics when I collect her.
