That is pretty much what I was trying to say. Nitrogen does not expand and contract with Temperature changes as much as oxygen does so tire pressure remains more constant which is more critical in racing than a street driven car. If you have a leak it will go down with nitrogen. My son races a Bandolero and we fill his tires with nitrogen. Nitrogen has benefits, but not enough in my opinion to use it in my street car. I wouldn't want to have a low tire on my street car and be tempted to hold off getting it aired up until I could find some nitrogen.
