This question has sort of been addressed before, but in a different venue.

How many people get a response when they wave at other Crossfire owners?

I try to talk to everybody I see in a parking lot driving a Crossfire. I just ask them if they know about the forum, and if not, I politely tell them they should check it out. Or I leave a note on a car when there is nobody around.
But only once out of a 1/2 dozen times have I met someone who knew about it, and belonged to it.
When you think about it, 11k+ forum members, is only a fraction of the total number of Crossfires out there, and probably to most Crossfire owners, it's just a means of transportation and not much else. After all, not everybody is a "car enthusiast" like most of us are. But I'd be willing to bet, thanks to the Crossfire some have become one.
