I will be driving an AWD Tsi Talon for the snowy months so I don't loose out on all the excitement, just most of it.

I used to have to worry about this. I lived in Pa. all my life until 2.5 years ago and moved to Texas. Now I enjoy the winters warm weather. I rode my bike (M109R) all winter last year without freezing. I sold it for the SRT so now it will be the SRT all winter.
