**Needswings CAI review***
I just received my CAI system today from Needswings. When I first started unpacking the contents I could tell that Rob and his team take pride in their products. It reminded me of opening up an Apple product, for those of you who have you now what I mean by this. Everything is individually wrapped and protected by lots of packing material ensuring that your system won't be damaged during shipment. The quality of items used are top notch and the welds for the PVC bung are perfect! I opted for the raw aluminum finish which I feel looks hardcore in the engine bay.
Installation was easier than I had expected. I always take my time when doing stuff like this as I like to clean around stuff that normally doesn't get cleaned but I could see this install going in less than an hour for sure. Only basic tools are needed, no you don't need any Torx bit drivers for this install.
Starting up the car for the first time I just tapped the throttle and the damn thing jumped to 3000 RPM while accompanied by that familiar open element K&N filter suction sound. I took out my brother in law who assisted in the install and all we could say was HOLY $HIT!!!!! We were both giggling uncontrollably with this system. To say that this intake woke that car up is an understatement. The car has way more grunt down low (not to mention top end) and the blower sound is way deeper now.
In closing I don't have anything bad to say about this product nor the company that produced it. Rob, this is an amazing bolt-on addition to this already amazing car. Please continue your development on this car so that the world can see what it really missed out on. I'll take some pics of the engine bay—if anyone would like to see anything in particular with the system just let me know.
