I have the base model. But I would recomend pioneer head units. They have the most easily adjustable tuning settings. You can adjust a HIGH PASS FILTER so that you keep all those real low speaker blowing freq's from hitting your speakers. I would also replace your door speakers with either polk audio or clarion. Those seem to have the best sound quality while maintaining durability. I have had about 6 pioneer head units and I will never deviate. They might not be the most attractive but most certainly contain the most adjustments to fine tune your sound to how you like it. And if you dont have one already I would put a sub in the back somhow. Nothing overbored, but somthing like a 10" woofer that can really capture all the mid-bass frequencies. But best of luck to ya.
