Thanks, I've been debating on what to do with the Engine Cover. Most of the Aluminum under the hood is pretty badly oxidized, that's why I haven't put the Engine badge on yet. That's why I was wondering who was going to be the first one to modify the passenger air box so that the needswings intake could pass through/under it. This way you can leave the air boxes on the car, and the engine cover doesn't look so out of place.
I'm all about performance, but one of the main reasons I haven't picked up the Needswings kit yet is because of the looks. This car is 'technically' for my wife, and if I ruin the looks of the engine she may not like it much

. She's not worried about making it faster.
My co-worker with the SRT said the same thing. He purchased an SL55 Y-Pipe and he's going to try to make his own intake assembly with dual pipes and attempt to leave the air boxes in place so the engine looks complete. We'll see what happens.
