Never even thought about checking the clearance in that area...but that makes a lot of sense (at least on the SRT, I'm not sure where the air enters on the N/A cars). I guess the main concern at that point would be water intrusion for those of us who have drivers and not race cars. Although, mine doesn't see rain anyway, but you never know.
