I know where you are coming from and don't really disagree. But some people are not comfortable finding the limits in the curves. Or in my case just trying to find some curves is tough. I am from Pacific Palisades and had plenty of fun on Sunset, Mulhulland, and runs up to big bear. Since moving to Texas I have had a very hard time finding any curves! Texas is flat so there is no need to put curves in any of the roads. We have to go to the tracks or X cross events to have any fun. During normal street driving here, if you need to show someone what you can do or respond to a challenge you will probably be going in a straight line which nitrous would be good for. If I still lived in CA, I would probably be focusing on driving skills, handling and braking first.
