Re: Trading in the Crossfire
I don't live in the snow, but I can't imagine being without a truck. So I kept my 05 Chevy 1/2 ton. What I did sell was my 2007 Chevy Avalanche. It was by far the best Chevy I've ever owned. I would buy a new truck every year. Mostly 4doors or ext cabs. I also had a 2003 Avalanche. The first thing I noticed with the new Avalanche was how quiet it was. It was very close to driving the Escalade. I never bought a Cadillac because I worked my trucks, so it was too pretty to get dirty. I would say for the money, I would at least test drive a new Avalanche or save money on a used one. It has the same power as the 05 EXT, and drives better. Your probably asking why I sold my Avalanche and kept my short bed instead. I didn't need the bigger vehicle, because I had a new 4Runner to haul the kids around. I also missed having a short bed, since the last time I owned one was early nineties.
The Avalanche doesn't have that luxury factor but for ride and comfort you can't go wrong. Maybe you can save enough to keep the Crossfire.
