Thumbs up Re: Will anyone miss the Chrysler Crossfire?

Those who want one, and just haven't taken the leap will still have a wide choice of new, and nearly new one's to choose from for quite awhile.
It should be obvious by now that the media, especially the most popular automotive magazines have forgotten about the Crossfire a long time ago. It's been "old news" ever since the SRT6 made its debut as an 05 model. The Crossfire has only been mentioned "in passing" by just a few rags ever since.
The future of the Crossfire is basically left up to us (the enthusiasts) now. We are its caretakers, and how it's remembered, and perceived in the future is our responsibility. It's up to us to make what ever improvements, mods, upgrades, changes, and to create a positive atmosphere for an aftermarket to flourish. Or to simply leave it 100% stock.
Their resale value is so low, (and it will go lower) there is really no need to worry about hurting their value by making modifications. You might as well do what ever you want to, to personalize it to your own individual tastes.
Personally I think it's going to be a very long time before this car ever becomes a collector's item, so enjoy it in any fashion you prefer. Besides, you can always put it back to "stock" when ever you like.
I do feel it's only a matter of time before the SRT6's get "discovered" and eventually turn into a "cult" car, and enjoy the same sort of "Celebrity status" that the Mark IV Turbo Supra's, and the Buick GNX's have enjoyed for some time now.
So whether the Crossfire is missed or not is really insignificant. Since we all know what we got, and the enjoyment that we get out of it should be enough to sustain us for a very long time.
We now have an "orphan" car, so let's make the best of it.

Well said! Trust you're doing well. I recognize that hood........one of a kind.
