Re: TVT Design, an introduction
Sounds great guys, thanks for supporting us.
As for the Throttle body, don't waste your time because at 75mm it will flow more CFM than most V8 engines can pull. and I don't think this 3.2L v6 is gonna suck more than 750cfm without serious mods.
Once you guys get things going, and start making some money I would seriously look into putting out CNC ported heads that really flow big numbers. that would truely rock!
I'd rather keep my car normally aspirated instead of going the turbo or supercharger route to make power. I would rather spend $900-$1,000 for a high flowing cylinder head instead of chasing the boost-dragon.
Hey if you guys are seriouse about this engine you should start building a demo engine with all your mods and parts, this would allow you to use an engine dyno, for more acurate numbers. If you are serious about a demo block I would order up the ML320 sleeve and piston kit from mercedes benz, so you can increase displacement to 3.7L. the ML320 I believe makes about 245 hp vs 215 for stock 3.2L.
Add to that your full exhaust and intake kit and pullies, you might just be able to squeke out 280-300 hp Normally aspirated, then and another 20hp with ecu tune and then Shricks racing cams. whoo knows what this motor is capable of when fully ported.
