I think we should start another thread on this subject elswhere instead of thread jacking this guy. As for, "bob the oil guy" it is a chat forum not an individual person. The test was done by a forum member.

look if I can see holes in K&N cotton airfilter = silica and dirt entering the engine. believe what you want, what are you a K&N sale rep or something, jeeze! lol
just do an oil change on two cars, install the OEM filter on one and a cotton oiled filter on the other, put fresh oil in them and drive for 5000 miles and send in 2 oil samples for testing. Then you can believe what you want.
