I was reading from other sites about the paint fix, should I use sandpaper to sand it smooth before I apply the touch up paint? I worry if I will chip off more paint when I use sand paper. Is there anyone can help?

Yes it is on my corolla, not the crossfire, but it only got 2k miles on it, so I do want a good fix.
