Question Re: High pitched squeek between 1-2nd shift when cold

It seems to do it 95% of the time when it is cold but on occasion it does it when it is warm. If it was the s/c clutch I would think that it would do it more often??? It doesn't do it when I am getting on it. It does it when I am driving it normal, close to the shift point somewhere around 3k. What gets me is that it only does it between 1-2 gear. I am wondering about trans fluid level. Is there any way to check it ourselves? The local dodge guys are complete morons. (my intercooler pump went out two months ago and they said there was no such thing as an intercooler pump on this car and that the supercharger was supposed to cut out like that and fall on its face ----so I would rather not let them touch it) Thanks for all the feedback.
