AND, Chrysler just did a very poor job in marketing their cars especially our first loves, the Xfire. They market the heck out of their trucks & SUVs 'cause that's where the money is and (now here comes the flame) the majority of Chrysler products all look the same at least from the front; just look for the grill! The first time I saw a Crossfire I had to have one. Nothing else on the road looked like it plus no other domestic had anything that cool looking. The Solstice looks good; so does the RX8 but both are pretty underpowered, no comparison and there are so many 'Stangs on the road I think they reproduce all by themselves on dealer's lots when no one's looking.
Benz SUVs not domestic ? .........all three are made just down the freeway from where I live.
All Chryslers look alike? ............. Have you looked at the front of every BMW...........every BENZ....................every AUDI............,SAAB,HONDA,ACURA,CADILLAC,LINCOLN ,.......on and on.
It is reasonable and the current marketing trend for cars to look similar to other members of the family.
European makers started this trend twenty years ago , so I wouldn't be surprised that Daimler made that decision for Chrysler.
After all, when the Crossfire was announced , it was written that it would be the ......ICON....... of the new Chrysler division of DC.
There are only so many things one can do to the looks of a car and actually it's almost all been done before.
If the XF looks like a Sebring to you , then take a look at your stove and you dishwasher; similar but definitely not the same.
Just my view, you have expressed yours,
