The movement is not much......half inch maybe......but definitely I can feel the bottom of my butt sinking in when the road turns rough.
Did they make a change during the year? My build date is 9/04........anyone else has this?
I just purchased my 2005 SRT-6 40 miles...(last week)
when driving home I noticed the same thing - the rear of the botttum seat cushion dropping out ? thought maybe its a power adjustment ..was not
(I am small too 5-7 130)
Got home and checked it out , in additon to the power adjustments...
it is spring loaded (two springs) in rear
I can take my fists and push it down.. (unlike the passenger-rock solid)
checked passenger side - solid as a rock - and also has the springs in the rear..... the passenger seat has the baby seat bracket two loops facing forward and one loop facing to the rear - funny this bracket is welded
and appears to keep the two springs fully loaded ??
You can see the springs are fully loaded (compressed) on the passenger seat
and unloaded (not compressed)on the driver / not sure if it has to do with the 4way vs 8way
I told myself after I drive it a little more ...play with the adjutments , I would do something about it , I have made an appointment with the dealer for evaluation ( I dont like the motion as descibed by calsxfire, exact same issue)
