I would like to go the most boost possible but still run safe. I would also like to find A/F ratios with the 181. I don't want to go water meth injection. I have the 185mm pulley on order with LET and I will now ask a few more questions.

I was looking at pulleys in terms of percentages.

The ASP 178mm pulley increases boost 14% over stock.
The LET 185mm pulley increases boost 20% over stock.

The only time the engine will actually see an increase of MAX boost above what the OEM pulley is capable of providing would during the last 14% or 20% of Engine RPM.

I read on the MB forum some guy who made a 192mm pulley (or something like that) and experienced a problem with fuel delivery at WOT.

I suppose if you were going to be spending a lot of time at the 1/4 mile track with your XF at redline - heat would then be an issue.
