When the Contis were discontinued I switched to the Yokohama S.4. due to their all season capabilities. I'm hoping that maybe you didn't buy the S.4. and instead bought one of their more high performance tires.

Although we don't see much snow in our part of Kentucky we usually get at least one good ground covering. I'm selling my beater in May and after that I plan on driving the Crossfire in all types of weather. Currently I'm not driving it if we even have a chance of rain - much less snow or ice.
