Well...I finally have to break down and buy new tires. I headed my sorry *** up to the Goodyear dealer today at lunch, fully well expecting to hear a number close to 2 grand. Was I ever surprised when they said $986, tires, balanced, and installed. They were even in house...ready to go on right then! I asked them to double check and make sure they were the correct sizes, as well as the new A/S tires. He confirmed and I made an appointment for Friday morning.

I just hate letting anyone else work on my car...

Although, tires are long overdue. Hopefully now I won't be getting stuck on any more wet leaves!
