The cars are NOT on US soil as of yet. They are on their way. (On the boats) We have been told that we can have a 2008 on our lot within 2 weeks, so they should be landing on our shores any time now. Just got some prices from our District Manager today, he also said right around 1,300 '08 Crossfires, so the 1329 number from Rob seems right on.

Chrysler's recall database. Every VIN is entered in the system when the vehicle is manufactured. According to the database, the last 2007 was 7X074262. the highest number recorded so far for an '08 is 8X075591. 75,591 - 74,262 = 1,329. so unless they're still being manufactured, that is likely the last which is why i also suggested a total production run of a little over 75K units. there are a few skipped VINs, especially early on; perhaps they were crash test units or for some other purpose.
