I live in NY. Actually the door was fine. The rubber seal is held in place with plastic clips that are all drilled through the bottom metal of the door, not the smartest way to attach a seal as far as rust is concerned. When I pulled the door inner panels off there was no rust, but there was a small amount of dirt and what looked like dried old cork, which was probably dried up seam sealer from when they weld the two halves together. I was interested to take a look inside being the car sat outside since 10/04/04. It was one of the inventory reduction cars with 48 miles.
