We have gone with the jack/trap too. We left the tires on, as now no worry about flat spots, left battery in too, will go out turn car over get it good and warm, I'm thinking you could put it in gear as well get the fluids moving around. Gary put that gas stable stuff in. As of today it's put away for the winter.
