I take no side on this matter, but:
1. A drivers licence is a priviledge, not a right.
2. When we are speeding, in our mind we know the risks.
Any speeding on public roads should not be for our personal pleasure.
There should be private tracks in many areas of the country, where we can go to test the limits of our vehicles.
Officers that do not enforce may leave themselves open to reprimand or litigation, particularly if an incident/accident occurs right after letting us off the hook.
Automobile TV adds are not real life.
