Re: Speeding Crossfire
A older gentleman was driving along on the open road and saw a cop behind him. The lights and siren came on and he knew he was already speeding so he panicked and began speeding up even faster. He ran up to 80 then 100 and then 120 and then realized he couldn't get away anyway and slowed down and pulled over. The cop got out of his cruiser and walked up to the car and asked the man if he knew why he had been pulled over ? The man said yes officer I do I was speeding but I have a good reason.The cop told the man if he could tell him a reason that he was speeding that nobody had told him before he would let him off without a ticket. The man began to explain to the cop that a couple of years ago his wife ran off with a state trooper and he was afraid that he was bringing her back.
The cop then just smiled and said to the man.
"Have a nice day".
