Default TVT Design... Dyno Results!!!

Well, we finally got the car to the dyno to try out the CAI, and the results are better then what we expected.

First, our cars are plagued with the Fuel cut at 5K rpm on the dyno, so just be aware that these numbers are for a 5K peak.

Our base run done many months ago, netted us a best HP of 174 @ 5,000 rpm. Using a 18% Drive train loss, this equates to about 212 hp at the crank@ 5,000 rpm.

Today we gained 8 HP @ 5,000 rpm to bring us to 180. 18% drive train loss = 220 hp @ 5,000 rpm.

My dyno guy, looking at the curves, calculated the peak HP to be about 198 HP. Stock cars put about 176 HP down.

I will post the graphs for everyone to look at on my website.

Basically the CAI is making more power as the revs climb. Our peak torque was 194 @ 5,000 rpm, and stock it was around 180 @ 5,000 rpm.

With 5,000 rpm Peak

+8 HP
+14 ft/lbs torque

This is definately a well needed mod!!!
