Re: Gas Mileage, What do you Get?
Something you have to keep in mind is that those numbers on the Moroney sticker are under controlled conditions in a laboratory that in no way shape or form resemble everyday driving. Humidity, elevation and a flat floor room versus, Denver driving and Phoenix driving, day or night, in traffic or not. Something to take in consideration. When I started looking at fuel economy, when I had my Jeep, the sticker said 15-19 MPG. That was with a 4 speed auto in 31" tires and 4.11 gears I was luck to get 12. Once I lifted it 6.5" and threw under there 37" tires with 5.38 gears, I was happy to get 7 MPG. With the "new" (used) Crossfire I get about 28-30 so I don't mind using the better gas.
