Eurodirt,

To be on the approx. the same power-to-weight level as a Boxster S, the XFire would need another 55 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque. But, keep in mind, a Boxster S also costs about $14,000 more than a Crossfire, new to new. With that $14k you could get the Renntech Package 2 and have 290 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, and completely blow the Boxster S out of the water. Or, you could get the Renntech Package 1 for $10k and be about on par with the Boxster S power-wise (you'll have more torque than the Boxster), and spend the rest on handling improvements, and then you'd still blow the Boxster out of the water. 8) So, for about the price of a Boxster S, you could have a car that outperforms the Boxster; and, in my opinion, looks a heck of a lot cooler.
