DC indeed raided the Mercedes parts bins to build them, but that does not make them MB vehicles anymore than an XLR is a Corvette, a Trailblazer a Saab, or an Audi RS8 a Lamborghini.

I too am proud of the vehicle's heritage and engineering background, but Mercedes doesn't brand them, back them, or even acknowledge the connection. Therefore I see no logic for affixing the Benz logo to a Crossfire.

Let the car stand on it's own. That's what I'm doing. Rant over.
