Default Re: New Member Interested in SRT-6

I called them before I went up there and negotiated a little to see if it would be worth my while since they still have it listed everywhere for $39,900, which is obviously a little high for the market. I told them I have seen a lot being sold in the low to mid 20s and they said no problem they are willing to deal to get rid of it. We discussed a little about the difference between my trade and the SRT-6 and they seemed to think we weren't too far off.

We get up there and I drive it (which was a blast!), and get back to the dealership. They check out my car ('04 SRT-4 with 50K) and comment on how well it was taken care of. We go back inside and start talking and I start asking about the deal we were discussing on the phone and they come back and say its not enough. I ask them what they were thinking and it was no where near what we discussed, and they weren't willing to come down hardly at all. I told them they wasted my time by lying to me on the phone just to get me to drive out there. The manager starts getting loud and I told him to do a little research and he'll see that they won't get anywhere near high 30s.

My warning to everyone is to stay away from West Brothers Dodge Chrysler Jeep! Or better yet everyone call in and offer them a ridiculously low amount for the car and maybe they will call me back and beg for me to take it off their hands.
