I just went through this problem, flashing fuel light and check engine. The dealer did not have a clue. 6 months of back and forth, they even wished to change the instrument pannel,,, that must be where the fault lies... NOT... it finally came down to a leak in the evap vapor canaster / pump solenoid and pump assembly , Error code P0455, it has been a month and so far no engine light and no blinking fuel light. They tested and would get a engine code fault, but physical test no leak,,, I insisted they change it and I no longer have the Christmas tree edition crossfire, the dash is again dark.
