Default Re: Mustangs More Than Xfires!

It shocks me because American cars, especially one that is known to be an economy sporty car like the Mustang (that has been it's intent since it was first designed), usually don't hold their resale value. I know, because I had one! Mustangs don't really hold their value that well compared to other cars, but the Xfire is one of the worst out there! Again, it shocked me because I expected the Xfire to do at least better than the mustang. It is a Mercedes for goodness sake. It just proves to me that people only really care about the badge. As for the Mustang, I love Mustangs, always have. Ford is the only American brand I would consider buying right now. They use good materials, the fit and finish is excellent, and they are very reliable. I recently drove the new Chrysler Sebring when the Xfire was in the shop. That thing was noisy, the plastics inside were hard, the plastic edges were sharp enough to cut, and everything felt el-cheapo! I also drove a new Ford Taurus. It was 100 times better. The interior used soft-touch plastics, nice chrome accents, the leather was good, the buttons felt solid, the engine was smooth and quiet, and the piano black trim was outstanding. It was a nice car! The new Mustangs are similarly nice.

The GT is faster than a std. Xfire, but will get blown away by a SRT6. Oh, they cost the same now. Actually, the GTs are more!
